SAS Viya Import Error: A SAS software component required for managing tables could not be loaded

When importing data in SAS Viya you may receive the following error message:

A SAS software component required for managing tables could not be loaded

This message means that the SAS/ACCESS product or Data Connector required for the import is not installed. It does not necessarily mean it is not Licensed.  i.e. it may possible to get this message if you are Licensed for the product, but the installer didn't install those files.

An example of checking if the underlying files for the SAS/ACCESS to PC Files is installed on a Linux server is:

sudo yum info sas-cdfpcfl
